Description
Rome and the Vatican in a day is the perfect tour for all those who have limited time to visit Rome but don’t want to miss anything. It will be an intense journey through the 2,800 years of our history, you can’t miss it!
We start from the Colosseum, the most incredible entertainment building where the Romans enjoyed the gladiators fights. After discovering all the stories about the Colosseum we’ll start a walk to get to the historical city center of Rome where we’ll also stop for a Gelato break!
On our way we’ll see some amazing ruins of the Imperial Forums, the squares built by some famous emperors for the Roman citizens.
In the city center we’ll see the Trevi Fountain, The Pantheon and Piazza Navona, while walking in the typical, narrow alleys of Rome and learning about the legends and the stories of the Eternal City.
From Piazza Navona we take a cab to the Vatican area, we stop for a lunch break and then we visit the highlights of the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and Saint Peter Basilica.
